STATEMENT OF WORK:
The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all trash containers, compactors, all administration, management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, plan, schedule, coordinate, inspect and shall be responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory of the collection and disposal of rubbish and trash specified at Richard Bolling Federal Building, 601 E 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.
Pickups should be scheduled two times per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am
The Contractor will keep containers in good repair at all times. Before a container is removed for repair, a replacement of the same capacity shall be furnished.
The Contractor will power wash and deodorize containers regularly at a frequency satisfactory to the Contracting Officer's Representative(s); a minimum of three times per year. The Contractor must be able to certify that this work has been done, and the work shall be scheduled with the Contracting Officer's Representative(s).
The Contractor shall submit a monthly report showing the total weight or cubic yards of trash hauled and shall be provided to the COR, so that the report can be submitted as required by the Resource Conversation and Recovery Act.
If the Contractor cannot provide total weight or cubic yards of trash hauled, the Contractor shall provide to the COR the container size, the number of containers, and the number of pickups and/or tips for each quarter.
Reports prepared by the Contractor shall be submitted to the Government electronically. When electronic submittals are not available, hard copy reports shall be used. Paper used by the Contractor shall be double printed paper containing a minimum of 30 percent post consumer recycled content.
(1) The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits.
(2) The Contractor shall use a physical means to restrict access or direct flow of pedestrians or vehicles around work areas. Barricades, ropes, signs, lights, etc. are to be used in accordance with accepted safety practices.
