Pre-Solicitation Notice



This synopsis is posted to publicize the Government’s intent to post an unrestricted Invitation for Bids (IFB) to www.SAM.gov. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified construction contractor to complete Construction - Phase I-Welcome Center & Medical/Dental Buildings at the St. Louis Job Corps Center in St. Louis, Missouri.



Work under this requirement includes, but is not limited to, the demolition and removal of nine various one-story buildings of approximately 15,000 gross square feet, the abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, the construction of a new Welcome Center of approximately 1,600 gross square feet, and the construction of a new Wellness Center of approximately 7,500 gross square feet within the campus of the St. Louis Job Corps Center. The requirement also involves construction of new roads and parking lots, landscaping, storm drainage and utility line connections, and site lighting. Period of Performance




  • NTP to Substantial Completion: 330 calendar days

  • NTP to Contract Completion: 360 calendar days
