The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Kansas City District is seeking information on Automated Fee Machines for Campgrounds and Day Use Areas within the Kansas City District.

Some of the requirements of the Fee Machines will be capable of accepting credit and debit cards. Capable of printing thermal receipts that will remain legible to 170 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 48 hours for patrons to display for enforcement purposes. Be supported by software applications allowing administrative user manipulation of rate structure, system configuration and transaction recording from a local or remote site. Be configured for operation with 120 VAC power with a separate 15-20 AMP service breaker in the nearest control panel. Components shall operate in extreme temperature and humidity conditions found in Illinois. In the summertime, temperatures commonly reach 90 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit with 80 to 90% humidity.
