SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION

This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 332999 . Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.



The following VAAR policies and clauses will be applicable to this requirement if an SDVOSB/VOSB entity is interested and qualified in this requirement:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following:



The St. Louis VA Medical Center (John Cochran) requires the replacement of the main loading dock truck leveler system. Remove and replace truck leveler, haul away all removed components, clean out pit, and clean-up/restoration of area where work is to be performed. The contractor shall furnish all parts and labor. Contractor should follow VA guidelines as follows:



The purpose of this scope of work is to replace the main loading dock truck leveler system at John Cochran Medical Center Building 1 main dock.



The Truck Leveler will be designed and installed per VA guidelines to meet original design or as otherwise stated in following SOW.






    • Conduct a physical site inspection to include Disconnect and demo existing truck leveler system. Removal and replacement of all associated parts, Motors, panels, wiring, or any part of leveler to install new unit.





GENERAL REQUIREMENTS






    • The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to remove and replace Building 1 main dock truck leveler system. The performance of this work shall be performed at John Cochran Division Veterans Affairs Medical Center, as described herein.



  • The New Truck Leveler shall have a manufacturer’s parts and defects warranty for period of(1) year from the date of original installation.

    • Acceptance of Work. The Contractor shall provide certification that work was approved and accepted by the POC John Cochran Medical Center. The contractor must submit validation that work was completed satisfactorily with request for payment.

    • The Contractor shall coordinate all work of systems with the AC Shop Foreman at Medical Center





Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to George.Johnson9@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than Wednesday , February 8, 2023 at 1000 EST. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought. Responses to this sources sought notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation
