  1. GENERAL INFORMATION





Title of Project: Procurement of personal protective gear for KC VAMC.





Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Radiologist protection is essential part of patient care for radiology. This equipment is utilized for the personal protection of medical staff in the performance of their duties.





Background: The Kansas City VA Medical Center Radiology Department provides services to veterans in which radiation is utilized and exposes radiology techs to radiation while performing their duties. This PPE is critical for their protection.








  1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS



a. New and Unused: All goods shall be new, unused, produced from current production components, and shall be delivered ready for use.



b. All aprons will come with a lifetime warranty.
