Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Unmanned Carrier Aviation Program Office (PMA-268), intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Delivery Order (DO) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-21-G-0006 to The Boeing Company (Boeing). The anticipated contract provides for technical support of the Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) in support of the MQ-25A Stingray Program.



This contract is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” for the proposed requirement.



The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MQ-25A Stingray. The Boeing Company alone has the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.



THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
