ECHOBED X CARDIO IMAGING TABLE

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Title of Project: Procurement of 5 cardiac echocardiogram beds and accessories for KC VAMC.

Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Cardiac Ultrasound is essential part of patient care for cardiology. This equipment is utilized for real-time visualization, identification, and diagnosis of cardiac structural and cardiac valve anomalies.

Background: The Kansas City VA Medical Center Cardiology Department requires replacement and additional cardiac echocardiogram beds. The beds promote ergonomics for the sonographers decreasing the amount of work-related musculoskeletal injuries. The power dropout, power wedge, power height adjustment, control locks, handheld grip bar and easily accessible remote for table controls will also decrease injury to the sonographer. The weight limit is 600lbs which will meet the needs of bariatric patients.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

a. Tables must be specifically designed for Echocardiogram use.

b. New and Unused: All goods shall be new, unused, produced from current production components, and shall be delivered ready for use.

c. All Deliverables will come with Standard 5-YR warranty.
