The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Regional Health Contracting Office – Central, Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Bayer Healthcare, LLC, an other than small business, under authority of FAR § 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. This is for the non-personal service to provide maintenance for the Government-owned Medrad CT Injection System (Stellant D and Spectris Solaris/E) to support General Leonard Wood Army Medical Hospital, (GLWACH), Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, 65473-1317. Award will be on or about 31 July 2023. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811210, “Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance”. The Small Business Size Standard is $34M.

No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
