DESCRIPTION:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for the award of: Mark Twain Lake Land and Vegetation Management Services.

1. The work will require: The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform tree/shrub clearing, roadside vegetation control, earthwork, grading, vegetative/debris clearing, herbicide application, succession control, tree/shrub seedling planting, container tree/shrub planting, plowing, disking, planting, fertilizer application, limestone supply and application, soil testing and analysis, and fireline establishment at various locations around Mark Twain Lake

The Contractor’s performance will be based on: the Contracting Officer’s (KO) evaluation and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Personnel (QA) and the results required by the Service Delivery Summary (SDS), and not the frequency or method of performance. The evaluation of results will be based on COR performance assessment, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) land stewardship personnel, and customer satisfaction. Final results of the evaluations will be the determining factor for the success or failure of this contract. The Contractor shall comply with applicable federal, regional, state, local laws, normal industry standards, practices, specifications and/or guides.

SOLICITATION: The solicitation is expected to be available on or about 14 December 2023. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.sam.gov/. This solicitation package will be posted on SAM.GOV, which can be accessed at www.sam.gov/.

Paper copies of this solicitation and its amendments will not be available or issued. Electronic copies are not permitted for the bid. The proposal submission date and time will be contained in the solicitation package.

Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the Interested Vendor List will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.sam.gov/, in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendor List will be activated and may be accessed and printed from this web site. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation costs.
