INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for the 10 N Bemiston HVAC Pump Replacements will be received by the City of Clayton, Finance Department, 1st floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 2:00 P.M. CST, on September 28, 2023. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:05 P.M. CST, on September 28, 2023 in the Council Chambers, 2nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105.

The Scope of Work consists of the replacing HVAC pumps CWP #1 and HWP #2, motors, associated appurtenances and adding VFDs at the City of Clayton 10 N Bemiston Avenue facility.  Bid packages will be available September 14, 2023 for view and download by visiting www.claytonmo.gov/vendors.

Access to view the existing units and space is available by appointment only. Please contact the City of Clayton Public Works Department at 314-290-8546 to schedule a walkthrough up until 4 P.M. CST, on September 21, 2023. Viewing the existing units and space is strongly encouraged to be considered for this project.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY BID AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY.
