City Hall 2nd Floor Remodel Office Furnishings
Notice is hereby given that the Director of Public Works of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for the following improvements:
GENERAL OFFICE FURNISHINGS
This project includes supply, delivery, and set-up of furniture items to Joplin City Hall, at 602 S Main St. Joplin, Missouri. Bids must be submitted to the fourth floor of Joplin City Hall by 2:00 P.M. March 4, 2024. Bids will be opened in the 4th floor Engineering Conference at 2:00 P.M. March 4, 2024. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on February 23rd at 2:00 P.M. in the 4th floor conference room of Joplin City Hall.
The Director of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
All listed items to be bid as models stated or approved equal or better.
Furniture color subject to change. Bidder shall provide alternate options. Warranty must match or exceed that of the furniture listed.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-bid later. The City may waive any irregularities in the bid or negotiate variances from specifications, and make awards that are in the best interest of the City. The City will have final decision in all matters regarding acceptance of bids and issuance of awards.
The City reserves the right to change the quantity of any line item listed, with an appropriate adjustment to final bid pricing given to bidder, based on the line item’s unit price.
Bidder shall supply all parts and pieces to make this a complete and useable project. All colors and fabrics will be verified and approved by actual sample where possible supplied by winning bidder prior to ordering of any furnishings.
Bidder should take special notice of the approximate dates that the City expects the remodeled area will be ready to accept delivery of furnishings. If staggered delivery dates cannot be arranged with manufacturer to meet these dates, furnishings can be stored in the basement of City Hall if needed.
The winning bidder will need to coordinate delivery and installation schedule with City and General Contractor of remodel project in progress. Work shall be completed in a timely manner.
