Scope of Project:
Excavate and remove the existing double, 7' diameter corrugated metal pipe crossing on W.
Dothage Rd. Chip existing bedrock in order to construct a bedding pad and install a 16'Wx8'H
precast concrete box culvert. Backfill culvert, install rock blankets, construct finished grading,
restoration, and construct gravel road patch.
An optional pre-bid conference has been scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:30
a.m. in the Boone County Resource Management office, Boone County Government Center
801 E. Walnut, Conference Room 301, Columbia, Missouri 65201. The purpose of the meeting
will be to address any questions or concerns regarding the bid. All bidders are strongly urged
to attend.
All questions pertaining to the project must be received by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25,
2024. Technical questions should be directed to the Project Manager.
Sealed bids will be accepted until 11 :OO a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Boone County
Purchasing Office, 5551 S. Tom Bass Road, Columbia, Missouri 65201. Bids received after the
above specified time for acceptance will be returned to the sender unopened. Optional

A certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check, or a bidder's bond payable to the Owner for five percent of AMOUNT OF BID must be included with Bidder's Bid Response. If this proposal is accepted and the undersigned fails to execute the Contract and furnish a contract bond as required, then the proposal guaranty shall be forfeited to the Owner. ELECTRONIC BID BONDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
