The Missouri Department of Transportation, Kansas City District, has determined that only one source, CTS Cement Manufacturing can provide the department with specific rapid set cement. The specific rapid cement shall be in bulk form as blended to perform a specific use patching material for dense overlays with the ability to reach high strengths in one to two hours and controlled cracking. This specific product has been tested as fully and absolutely compatible for use with the desired results in patching operations. The solicitation will be awarded on a firm fixed low bid pricing basis. Contract period shall be from Notice to Proceed through July 27, 2024.
