To meet the requirements of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requiring the use of specific reagents and quality control materials for following Chemical Threat (CT) methods: Tetranitromethane Metabolite (HNPAA) and Volatile Organic Compounds. As described in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) ‘88 guidelines, these materials must meet stringent specifications. CDC has identified that O2Si meets the required manufacturing specifications in purity and stability for both the HNPAA and VOC methods. All LRN-C laboratories must procure and use the same lot of materials each year to ensure network harmonization and continuity of method performance.
