Introduction

The Technology Department of the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the provision of new Lithium Battery Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) units. These UPS units will serve as backup power for critical infrastructure and will be managed centrally via software with capabilities for testing and reporting functionalities.

Scope of Work

Requirements

  • Provide 12 units of 750VA Lithium Battery Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
  • Provide 16 units of 1500VA Lithium Battery Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
  • Provide 5 units of 20amp 120va horizontal PDU
  • All UPS units must be rack-mountable and include necessary mounting hardware.
  • Minimum 2-year warranty on UPS units
  • Centralized Management Software with capabilities for:
    • Real-time monitoring and alerting
    • Scheduled testing
    • Reporting features

Deliverables

  1. Delivery of Lithium Battery UPS units to 1100 SW Smith St which is the public safety building within the City of Blue Springs
  2. Delivery of any license keys etc. of Centralized Management Software in accordance with specifications
  3. Staff training sessions for the effective use and maintenance of the UPS units and software up to four hours
  4. Detailed documentation, including operation manuals and software guides

Proposal Submission Guidelines

  1. Technical Proposal: Provide technical specifications for the Lithium Battery UPS units and the centralized management software.
  2. Cost Proposal: Furnish a detailed financial breakdown for UPS units, software, and any additional services.
  3. Implementation Timeline: Submit a project timeline from initiation to completion, including any major milestones.
  4. References: Provide a minimum of three references where similar installations have been performed.
  5. Compliance Statement: Confirm that all proposed solutions comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
