RE: RFP Number 2023-20: “Professional Services Medical Insurance Broker”

Newton County is looking for professionals to provide proposals.

Sealed RFPs shall be clearly marked “RFP 2023-20: Professional Services Medical Insurance Broker” and shall be mailed or delivered to:

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Newton County to select a Broker of Record to be charged with the responsibility of placing and servicing the County’s Employee Medical Benefits insurance programs for a period of up to three (3) years. To include administrative pricing. This request for proposal is not an authorization to approach insurance companies at this time.

Responses shall be mailed, shipped or delivered in a manner to be received by the Newton County Commission no later than 10:30 am Thursday, April 20, 2023, at which time The Commission will convene to open and read the bids. Any bid not received at the appointed time shall be disqualified. Newton County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. The Newton County Commission will not accept collect calls, COD shipments, postage due mailings, emailed or faxed bids. Questions relating to this bid shall be referred to Director Newton County Human Resources, Susan Sheeks at 417-451-8262.
